Hannah Wilke: Gestures takes a focused look at Wilke's early sculpture and include, as examples, her early box sculptures and gestural objects, many of which were ceramics. The show will then consider the way in which Wilke's complex conception of sculpture fed the development of her living sculptures, video, and performance art.
