Sally Brogden’s work focuses on simple abstract form. It invites one to imagine examination through a microscope as it draws upon reference to human form, nature, and mass produced objuects. Embracing the plumpness of anatomical form as well as the symmetrical rigidity of machine-tooled objects, her work reflects a fascination with ambiguity. Ultimately the work invites the viewer to reflect upon their relationship with nature, craft and beauty.
